About Us

The Caboolture Photography Club was established in 1979 and holds two regular monthly meetings which include competitions, workshops, guest speakers and demonstrations.

Our group offers photographic opportunities through planned outings across South-East Queensland and Northern NSW. These activities range from half day visits to weekend trips at picturesque locations. All members are welcome to attend and are encouraged to participate when they can.

We have several Special Interest Groups which are organised and coordinated by members. The current groups are Scapes, Monochrome, Print, Creative, Birding, and Lightroom / Critique. All of these groups have their own meeting nights and some have regular midweek outings.

We also participate in a few Interclub outings and activities during the year, where we join with members of other clubs for a day of photography and usually a BBQ or BYO lunch

Our aim as a club is to encourage the art of photography, assist members to develop and hone their photographic skills as well as offer an environment for the discussion and exchange of ideas.

The Caboolture Photography Club is a not-for-profit organisation affiliated with the Photographic Society of Queensland.

The Caboolture Photography Club meets at 7:00pm on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month at the Caboolture Historical Village, Beerburrum Road Caboolture. Our clubhouse is the meeting room directly behind the hotel. Visitors are always welcome. We look forward to seeing you soon.
